In early 2020s, most countries have started shutting down their 2G and/or 3G networks, making it impractical to use Nokia phones as daily drivers. However, Android keypad phones (some of which support 4G and VoLTE) exist, and both J2ME Loader and EKA2L1 are good enough to run most games. This makes them decent successors of Nokia phones.

This page is an overview about Android keypad phones, and a list of all such phones that I know about.

For now I have only bought one phone: the Sharp Aquos Keitai 3 from SoftBank, aka 805SH. I plan to write a detailed review, focusing on the OS UX, and J2ME/Symbian gaming.

If I ever buy more phones on this list, reviews will be written (and linked to) as well.
